Joy Salvador — Managing Director
A definite “people person”, Joy relishes the challenge
of making sure our clients are satisfied with every aspect of our
work, from a smooth start to a successful finish. In addition to
coordinating each of our projects, Joy also maintains this Web site
— updating it is a never-ending task.
Prior to co-founding Scarcliff | Salvador, Joy was a Marketing Manager
at a top Bay Area branding agency. A native of Chicago, Joy grew
up in Silicon Valley and graduated from the University of California
at Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development,
focusing on early childhood language acquisition and gender differences.
Her linguistics background includes Ilocano, one of the principal
languages of the Philippines, and the Romance languages.
As well as spending time with her extended family, Joy also enjoys
the arts, including photography, graphic design and various traditional
Oceanic handicrafts. Joy is very active in the community, recently
serving as the treasurer and a docent for Hands On Art, a South
Bay non-profit organization devoted to youth art education.
